Billionaires Rally to Ask Americans to Donate Their Social Security Checks

Posted on | April 29, 2010 | Comments

On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation met with billionaires, millionaires and politicos at the Ronald Reagan Building in D.C. The day after the new Fiscal Commission held their first meeting, these leaders gathered in secret to devise ways to cut Social Security benefits (not the reason for the budget deficit) in the name of the federal budget deficit.

OUTSIDE the meeting, ‘Billionaires for Social Insecurity’ gathered to ask the public in a more outright fashion to hand over their Social Security checks.

Huzzah!! Of course we have to cut social security to stop the high defecit. You better not increase taxes even slightly on us billionaires! We deserve what we have! Destroying your economy and stealing your pensions was a lot of hard work!

But don't worry, you can still save for retirement by buying Gold! Of course its at a 90% markup, but that's for the service we provide, which is paying for people to tell you gold is a great buy. That's not cheap! Becks cost a lot of bucks, you know!

    HUZZAH!

I don’t know if you can donate money to social security, but it would be nice to do so. I think it would be better to get a lawyer and see if he can get you the social security. I feel like that would be a better alternative to this.
